​My family and I don’t stop indulging in food. There was a day I searched up for quotes about food to describe my family, and I came across one by Anna Thomas: “We all eat, and it would be a sad waste of opportunity to eat badly.”
Now I know there are people who eat a lot, but we do things differently in our household. I don’t ever remember a time when our food wasn’t well cooked or wasn’t enough for everyone. When we go out, we don’t just order per person, we order for everyone. There are plates and plates of food and every meal is a feast. We all get to try half the menu, sometimes even more. We just don’t appreciate fast food restaurants. For my family, it is a waste to spend money if the food doesn’t take time to prepare.

Ever dreamed of becoming a bird? I did. I have always found it fascinating to be high above the blue sky and soar above cities and nature. I would daydream about it all the time which is why I love tall buildings, airplanes and extreme sports in the sky. This was also the reason for my enthusiasm, when I saw a discount on Metrodeal for the flying trapeze in BGC. I tried trapeze before, while I was on holiday, but this one was higher so I was looking forward to it.

While looking down, I couldn’t help but smile. I was so high up,  the adrenaline rush got me all tingly inside. Then, when I stepped off the board, I moved swiftly against the wind, accidently closing my eyes. I swung a bit, before I was caught by the line-puller and then, I could do one or two tricks smoothly. I didn’t realize there were people watching and I could hear them cheering and laughing, I loved it! I felt like a pro, although I’m obviously not. However, I did take a few lessons before but still needed a lot more practice.
